This course is designed to study the shape, nature, and structure of the plant and animal cells using a light microscope to examine the shape and cell function of both cells. Moreover, in this semester, the learners will study the organization of living things from a cell until it becomes an organism including the diffusion and osmosis processes which is important in carrying substances inside and outside of a cell. Additionally, the students will also study about plants and how plants make their own food in the process called photosynthesis which is important for both humans and animals, including how plants reproduce either sexually or asexually. Lastly, they will also know how seeds are formed and developed in the process called germination. On the other hand, this semester also includes the discussion of atoms, elements, and compounds. They will learn how elements were grouped according to their properties and characteristics. They will study atomic structure, bonding forces between particles, and the movement of particles of the same substance in the state of solid, liquid, or gas. Indeed, technology is now part of everyday living, so the students should know the main concept of technology and how they can integrate the uses of technology in their life.
