This course is designed to study and compare integers, discuss the opposite number and absolute value, add, subtract, multiply, and divide integers.  Also, the students will be able to solve integers using the different properties and they will be able to apply its concept in real- world problems. Additionally, this course aims to study and compare fractions using the four fundamental operations of mathematics and apply the concepts of fraction to real-world problems. Moreover, it also focuses on studying and comparing decimals using the four fundamental operations (except the concept of repeating decimals). It also pointed out the relationship of fractions and decimals and apply the concepts of decimal to real life.  Next in line is writing an exponent with positive integer. It elaborates on how to multiply and divide if the exponent is positive. The students will also write numbers using the scientific notation method and understand its importance in real- world situation. Moreover, this course tackles about geometry specifically about cross-sectioning of three- dimensional figures, describing two-dimensional by obtaining its’ front, sides and top view of a three- dimensional geometric figure. Lastly, this course also includes solving linear equation with one variable and its importance to real world.
